Job summary

Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer 2 to identify, diagnose and resolve DRAM process integration problems and drive process/material optimizations. You will coordinate evaluations, lead cost-reduction initiatives and support new product introductions with validated baselines.

The role requires a Master's degree in a related field and involves collaboration across supplier audits and daily fab health monitoring to ensure best-in-class

Qualifications

• Validate and qualify processes, tools, and materials for product introduction
• Manage and audit material suppliers to meet quality, cost, and risk objectives
• Support internal and external audits
• Sustain fab healthiness with daily monitoring
• Drive effective process technology improvement that enables best-in-class yield, quality and cost

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose and resolve DRAM process integration related problems; Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step
• Lead / participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities
• Validate and fan out new process baseline qualified, including new process, tools and/or materials for new product introduction
• Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC

Education

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Science, Material Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related field
