Job summary

H2O Innovation in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a full-time, permanent role. Your primary duty will involve operating heavy equipment to clean ditches and ensure proper drainage flow.

Key duties include ditch cleaning, operating excavators, dozers, backhoes and graders, and ensuring safety protocols. The candidate should have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of experience operating excavators, backhoes, dozers, and graders.
• Pipe-laying experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and establishing grade.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with the public, team members, and supervisors.
• Capable of performing physical tasks in diverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ditch cleaning to maintain drainage flow.
• Operate excavators, dozers, backhoes, and graders.
• Ensure daily operations adhere to safety protocols and are executed efficiently.
• Request utility line locates and comply with line locate policies.
• Prepare and submit written reports as required.
