Job summary

Duane Blanton Plumbing, Sewer, Heating & Cooling is seeking a Drain Technician to restore flow and generate leads for our Sewer team. You will interact daily with customers, work on-call after hours, and contribute to long-term service options. Training is provided to grow within the company.

The role requires 1 year of plumbing/drain experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office is expected, with Service Titan

Qualifications

• 1 year of plumbing, drain cleaning, or related experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• CRM software, Outlook and Excel proficiency
• Strong organization and record-keeping with clear communication
• Professional daily communication with customers (in person, written, phone, or email)

Responsibilities

• Locate blockages and temporarily restore flow to home drain lines
• Educate customers on sewer system care and best practices
• Convert jobs into leads for Sewer Sales and develop long-term service options
• Establish customer rapport to ensure high satisfaction
• Collect client information and maintain accurate interaction notes
• Use mobile tech to photograph, document details, and complete work orders
• Collect payment and provide documentation to customer and company
• Participate in required trainings and meetings
• Serve on an on-call rotation
• Travel to customer homes
