My Plumber Plus is seeking a Drain Technician in Manassas, VA to diagnose drain issues and provide high-quality drain cleaning services. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer experiences and finding effective, transparent solutions during service calls.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in sewer/drain cleaning with camera experience, strong communication, and a professional customer-focused approach. Company vehicle, training, and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sewer and drain cleaning, replacement, and sales experience.
• Experience operating a sewer camera.
• Working knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems, and underground piping.
• Repairing underground drains and sewers using conventional excavation methods or trenchless pipe replacement equipment would be a plus.
• Personable and professional.

Responsibilities

• Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home, service calls.
• Provide Camera service for mainline stoppages.
• Describe diagnosed problems to customers and provide solutions.
• Engage with customers professionally to explain drain issues and upsell services.
• Obtain agreement for services before performing work.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products.
• Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock to minimum levels.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Wear all applicable PPE.
• Communicate with customers, office staff and co-workers.
• Participate in staff meetings and training.
