Job summary

Hope Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking exceptional drain technicians for residential drain cleaning services in Indianapolis, IN. You will diagnose and repair drainage issues, lead customers to informed buying decisions, and work with a team to meet sales targets.

The role requires 1 year of verifiable drain experience, a professional demeanor, and the ability to mentor apprentices. A company truck, PTO, holidays, and health/dental/vision insurance are provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete all drain cleaning and cable work on in-home service calls.
• Coordinate camera service for every mainline stoppage within 24 hours of the report.
• Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
• Help customers select the right maintenance plan and understand warranty information.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure the overall success of the business.
• Protect the drain-cleaning equipment and keep a well-inventoried truck.
• Participate actively in trainings, meetings, trade shows, and retreats.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.

The Role:

As a drain technician, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to demonstrate technical competence and meet sales targets. You will diagnose and repair drainage issues and lead customers to informed, confident buying decisions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Pay:

$18-20 an hour, with up to $150 per Turnover!
