Job summary

Burton Plumbing, Heating and More is seeking a Drain Technician to join an elite team. You will perform residential and light commercial drain cleaning, operate cable machines, jetters, and sewer cameras, and provide maintenance, inspections, and informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of residential or commercial drain cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving mindset.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; plumbing or drain certifications a plus.

What You Bring

• 6+ months of residential or commercial drain cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving mindset.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; plumbing or drain certifications a plus.
• Team player with integrity, accountability, and a passion for customer care.
• Must be willing to participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency drain service.
• Proven attendance record and must be able to pass drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to frequent stoop, kneel and crouch to work in tight spaces.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.
• Must be able to work in both extreme heat and cold, as well as adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to push, pull, and carry heavy equipment.
