Job summary

Roth Home in Sisters, Oregon is seeking a Drain Service Technician to perform residential drain cleaning, jetting, cabling, and related service work. You’ll diagnose issues, inspect with cameras, and educate customers while delivering a 5-star experience.

You’ll join a team with over 50 years in Oregon home services, with training, growth opportunities, and a supportive environment to advance skills, lead projects, and grow professionally.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • At least 1 year of Drain Technician experience.
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional attitude and positive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new technology, techniques, and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Performing residential drain cleaning, jetting, cabling, and related service work.
  • Providing camera inspections for mainline stoppages within 24 hours of the reported issue.
  • Diagnosing drain and sewer issues and clearly explaining your findings to customers.
  • Building strong customer relationships while delivering a professional, 5-star experience.
  • Educating customers about sewer repairs, replacements, maintenance, and preventative solutions.
  • Helping customers understand their options and choose the solution that best fits their needs.
  • Taking ownership of your work, performance, and revenue goals.
  • Creating an experience that earns customer referrals and repeat business.
  • Working alongside Customer Service and Dispatch to keep jobs running smoothly.
  • Maintaining and protecting your service vehicle, tools, and equipment.
  • Keeping your truck properly stocked and ready for the day.
  • Participating in hand-on training, team meetings, and ongoing development.
  • Learning from experienced technicians and helping mentor apprentices as you grow.
  • Completing invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets accurately and on time.

Your day-to-day will include:
