Job summary

Townsend Energy is seeking aDrain Service Technician to perform residential drain cleaning and fixture replacement, using snakes and augers, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. You will diagnose issues, discuss repairs with customers, and document service activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in drain cleaning/plumbing.
• Able to use and operate drain cleaning equipment.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performed residential drain cleaning services using snakes and augers.
• Replace toilets, sinks and other fixtures as needed.
• Diagnosed drain issues, consult with customers on repairs/replacements and conduct the work.
• Recommended repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance solutions to customers.
• Maintained tool and equipment and service vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Followed company safety procedures and industry standards on all service calls.
• Completed accurate job reports, invoices, and service documentation using ServiceTitan.

Drain Service Technician | $28.00- $35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule

7:00am to 4:00pm | Monday through Friday | occasional overtime

What You Will Be Doing

What We Are Looking For

• 2 + years of experience in drain cleaning / plumbing


• Able to use and operate drain cleaning equipment


• Able to lift 50+ lbs.


• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems


• Comfortable working in confined spaces as needed


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Willing to work in all weather conditions


• In trade school for plumbing or interested in schooling for plumbing


• MA plumbing apprentice license - desired, but not required


• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
