Job summary

Rodenhiser Home Services is hiring a Junior Service Technician to lead residential drainage service calls, build customer trust, and guide clients to the best service and maintenance options. You will work within a team to diagnose problems, upsell appropriate products, and ensure high standards of safety and efficiency.

Candidates should have 1-3 years’ experience with drain machines, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• EPA universal certificate is required.
• 1-3 years minimum experience operating main drain machines, hand drain machines, jetting machines, locators, cameras.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential drainage service calls within area of expertise.
• Establish customer rapport to instill confidence and upsell services.
• Ask lifestyle questions to troubleshoot drains.
• Educate customers on finance options and maintenance plans.
• Explain replacement opportunities for aging systems.
• Manage jobs to achieve proposed gross margins.
• Train and mentor apprentices for proper equipment use.
