Delco Storm & Sewer Services is Delaware County’s trusted name for underground utility work, stormwater systems, and full-service plumbing. We’re expanding our interior plumbing division and seeking a seasoned Drain Cleaning Technician to lead the charge in residential and commercial service calls.

Responsibilities

• Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home service calls.
• Provide Camera service for mainline stoppages.
• Describe diagnosed problems to customers and provide solutions.
• Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, effectively communicating drain issues and recommended solutions to generate sales opportunities by explaining the features and benefits of each solution.
• Obtain agreement for services before performing work.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to customers, maximizing revenue potential.
• Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service experiences and resolving any customer concerns or issues promptly.
• Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock truck to minimum stock levels.
• Be able to successfully perform basic drain cleaning functions using small to large-sized drain cleaning machines.
• Have the basic knowledge of how a plumbing system works.
• Be able to remove and reset a toilet and a p-trap.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and co-workers.
• Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.
• Participate in required staff meetings and training.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of sewer and drain cleaning, replacement, and sales experience.
• Service Titan experience a plus!
• Working knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems, and underground piping.
• Personable and professional.
• High integrity and strong communication skills.

$25 - $35 an hour
