Job summary

LSEngineers, Inc. is seeking a drafting technician to create structural models and construction documents. You will coordinate with in-house engineers, other technicians, architects, and related disciplines on challenging projects.

Responsibilities include 3D site scanning, reviewing shop drawings, and clear client communication. Must have an associate degree in architectural or engineering drafting and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

Associate degree in architectural or engineering drafting.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and MS Office.
Strong academic record.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Create structural models for coordination and to produce construction documents.
Coordinate work with in-house structural staff, other technicians and design professionals including architects.
Perform 3D site scanning and process data for the project model.
Communicate clearly with clients to understand projects and deliverables.
Review shop drawings and respond to construction questions.
