Job summary

LSEngineers, Inc. is seeking a drafting technician to create structural models and construction documents. You will coordinate with in-house engineers, other technicians, architects, and related disciplines on challenging projects.

Responsibilities include 3D site scanning, reviewing shop drawings, and clear client communication. Must have an associate degree in architectural or engineering drafting and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Job description

• Create structural models for coordination and to create structural construction documents
• Coordination of work with in-house structural engineering staff as well as other technicians and design professionals including architects and other engineering disciplines
• Perform 3D scanning on project sites and process scan data to incorporate into project model
• Clearly and openly communicate with clients to understand projects and deliverables
• Respond to construction questions and review shop drawings
• Associate degree in architectural or engineering drafting from an accredited college or university
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and MS Office
• Strong academic record
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Commitment to the success of the team

• Self-motivated and willing to ask questions
