Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Drafter/Designer in Minnesota to support all project phases with emphasis on detailed engineering. You will assist lead designers and engineers with basic design and drafting, using 3D modeling tools and laser scanning to develop precise drawings.

Candidates should have an associate degree in MET or design drafting, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/Navisworks/Vault), and familiarity with Revit. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology or design drafting; exceptional experience considered if no degree.
High proficiency in Autodesk CAD systems (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Vault).
MS Word and Excel; 3D design and modeling experience; Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist lead designers and engineers with basic design and drafting from verbal direction and redlines.
Field verification in existing facilities using traditional measuring or 3D laser scanning.
Prepare design drawings and sketches using 3D modeling software and laser scans under guidance.
