Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Designer/Drafter with 4–5 years of site civil experience to join our team in Austin or San Antonio, Texas. You will produce 3D civil models and design outputs for roads, drainage, and related infrastructure while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will contribute to project delivery, maintain Jacobs QA standards, and grow professionally within our global network. This hybrid role offers the chance to work across local projects and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or technical drafting/designing.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Deliver accurate 3D civil models and design outputs for roads, drainage, and related infrastructure.

• Adhere to Jacobs QA processes and safety standards.

Your impact

We’re seeking a Designer/Drafter to join our team in Austin or San Antonio, Texas. You’ll have the opportunity to use your vast experience in the industry and apply it to solving today’s challenges.

As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of skills as part of an integrated building services design.

While working in this role, you will contribute to project delivery through high-quality modelling, technical design support, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, while maintaining Jacobs’ standards for quality, safety, and innovation while supporting the delivery of civil design and modelling services on infrastructure projects.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Associate’s Degree or technical drafting/designing.

The base salary range for this position is $74,700.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
