Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Junior–Intermediate Level Civil Engineer based out of San Antonio or Austin, TX. You will be an integral member of the design team, performing site civil engineering analysis and design for diverse projects globally, producing reports, drawings and specs.

The role emphasizes design delivery, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and construction support through design and construction phases. A Texas-based PE license is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant professional site civil experience for infrastructure, building/facilities-related site civil design projects.
• AutoCAD Civil3D design experience.
• Experience with large scale land development, data center or semi-conductor site projects.
• Strong background in plan production and project execution while leading design teams.
• Experience working in a multi-discipline team with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Construction support services experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil engineering analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and around the world.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior - Intermediate Level Civil Engineer based out of San Antonio or Austin, TX. In this role, you will be an integral member of the design team. You will have the opportunity to perform site civil engineering analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and around the world, producing technical reports, construction drawings and technical specifications. Specific Civil design efforts will entail assessing site features and creating site layouts, designing utilities systems and pavements, grading and drainage, stormwater management and erosion & sediment control. Additionally, your expertise will be leveraged to develop project drawing and technical specification deliverables during design, as well as services during construction support during construction phases of work.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Ideally, you'll also have

• Project management experience.
• Practical hands-on experience and/or construction support.
• Experience with alternate delivery (Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects)

The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $130,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
