Starting salary, $51,000.00 (2026) Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and a valid NJ Driver’s License. Applicants must obtain a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (Class A is a plus) and applicable endorsements within 1 year of hiring. Additional licenses / experience such as: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sewer, mechanical vehicle maintenance, and/or pesticide is a plus and shall be considered. Applicants should have a knowledge of some or all of the following areas: building maintenance, sports field prep and maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, road maintenance, Experience with heavy equipment operation a plus. Duties require physical exertion, manual dexterity, routine use of complex power equipment. Must be available for emergency callouts, overtime and standby shifts. Background checks including criminal history, physical exam, drug screening, driving and employment history may be conducted.
