Job summary

Mountain Lakes Borough is seeking a full-time DPW Driver/Laborer for a variety of routine, noncomplex labor tasks including roadwork, parks and building maintenance, snow plowing, and waste collection. Preference for candidates with a CDL and prior public works experience.

Salary ranges from $43,562.50 to $64,062.50, commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits include PERS pension, medical, prescription, and dental coverage.

• Ability to obtain Class B CDL within one year of employment.

• Roadwork and general maintenance tasks.
• Parks maintenance and building upkeep.

DPW Driver / Laborer - Mountain Lakes Borough.

Is seeking a full-time public works laborer. Job duties include a variety of routine, repetitive, noncomplex labor tasks, which involve roadwork, parks maintenance, building maintenance, public works projects, snow plowing / shoveling, lifting of heavy equipment, garbage and recycling pickup, general maintenance, and other duties outlined in, but not limited to, the current job description as listed in the position description manual in the Borough Manager’s office. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to acquire a Class B CDL within one year of employment. Preference will be given to candidates with a CDL and / or prior experience in public works-related work. The salary range for this position is $43,562.50 - $64,062.50, commensurate with experience.
