Job summary

Mountain Lakes Borough is seeking a full-time DPW Driver/Laborer for a variety of routine, noncomplex labor tasks including roadwork, parks and building maintenance, snow plowing, and waste collection. Preference for candidates with a CDL and prior public works experience.

Salary ranges from $43,562.50 to $64,062.50, commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits include PERS pension, medical, prescription, and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain Class B CDL within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Roadwork and general maintenance tasks.
• Parks maintenance and building upkeep.
• Public works projects participation.
• Snow plowing/shoveling as needed.
• Garbage and recycling pickup.
• Other duties as described in the position manual.
