Job summary

NGK Opportunities is seeking a DPF Technical Leader I for the 7:30pm–7:45am shift in Mooresville, NC. The role focuses on supervising technical aspects of the production process, changeovers, quality checks, and process improvements with no direct reports.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining safety standards, and supporting engineers in developing and testing prototypes. Requires high school diploma and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to successfully complete all required job training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 month manufacturing/warehousing experience or equivalent.
• CRC Bronze or above.

Responsibilities

• Communicates safety concerns to the Supervisor or Area Manager.
• Assists with changeover and setup, verifies safety equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment or product issues; monitors quality and productivity.
• Maintains inventory and ensures operators have materials; records data and writes work orders.
• Follows safety procedures and company policies; participates in maintenance and Kaizen activities.
