Heicivil is seeking an experienced Dozer Operator to join our Dallas team. The successful candidate will operate heavy machinery such as dozers, backhoes, and excavators while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma/GED, with 2+ years of experience operating diverse heavy equipment. This is an opportunity to work with a respected leader in the heavy civil construction industry.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating a diverse range of heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dozer and possibly various other equipment.
• Maintain 3 points of contact on all pieces of equipment.
• Respond to signals and directions by other staff members.
• Perform daily walk around checks and complete daily checklist.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment.
• Attend daily safety meetings with the crew.
• Operate the equipment in adherence to safety policies.
• Report any safety violation to the Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

We are looking to hire an experienced Dozer Operator to join our Dallas team!

Responsibilities

• Operate a dozer and possibly various other equipment such as backhoe, loader, scraper, excavator, water truck, mechanized broom, skid steers, compactor, motor grader, etc.
• Maintain 3 points of contact on all pieces of equipment at all times.
• Respond to signals and directions by other staff members and work in coordination with them.
• Perform daily walk around checks and properly complete daily checklist.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment and report any needed repair to the supervisor.
• Attend daily safety meetings with the crew.
• Operate the equipment in adherence to safety policies, procedures, job site and/or traffic laws.
• Report any safety violation to the Supervisor and/or Safety Director.
• Report any incident to the Supervisor or safety team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• When not operating heavy equipment, must perform all other Laborer job description and duties.
