Job summary
Texas Materials Group, Inc. is seeking two Dozer Operators to join our construction team in Texas.
The Dozer Operator will safely operate bulldozers and related heavy equipment to perform site preparation, grading, earthmoving, and roadway construction, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety and environmental standards. The role requires at least 2 years of experience with dozers in construction, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with GPS machine control systems.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of safe dozer operating procedures and heavy equipment practices.
- Ability to perform rough and finish grading from plans and stakes.
- Familiarity with GPS machine control systems is preferred.
- Strong communication with supervisors and crew.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate bulldozers safely to support earthwork, grading, site development.
- Perform rough and finish grading per plans, specs, and grade stakes.
- Push, spread, level, and move soil and aggregate.
- Assist with land clearing, embankment construction, and roadway development.
- Read construction plans, grade stakes, and directions from supervisors.
