Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking two experienced Dozer Operators to join our construction team in Houston. The Dozer Operator is responsible for safely operating bulldozers and related heavy equipment to perform site preparation, grading, earthmoving, roadway construction, and land development activities.

The successful candidate will support project operations by maintaining proper grades, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to all safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a dozer in construction or heavy civil projects.
• Experience performing finish grading and working from survey stakes or GPS is preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers safely and efficiently on earthwork, grading, and site development projects.
• Perform rough and finish grading per plans, specifications and grade stakes.
• Read construction plans and stakes, and follow directions from supervisors and grade shooters.
• Identify and avoid underground utilities and hazards while maintaining production goals.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
