Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, seeks a dependable Backhoe/Broom Operator to support construction, paving and roadway maintenance in Houston. You will safely operate backhoes and power broom equipment to perform excavation, trenching, material handling and sweeping tasks, contributing to quality workmanship and timely project completion.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of heavy equipment experience, a focus on safety, good teamwork, and the ability to read project plans while following

Qualifications

Knowledge of safe heavy equipment operating procedures.
Ability to operate backhoes and power broom equipment safely and efficiently.
Understanding of excavation, trenching, and roadway construction practices.

Responsibilities

Safely operate backhoe and broom equipment on construction projects.
Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling tasks.
Operate power broom to clean roads and paving surfaces.
Read project plans and follow supervisor instructions.
Complete inspections and maintenance reports for equipment.
