The City of Greensboro seeks a Downtown Greenway Program Assistant to support engaging public programming along the Downtown Greenway. You will work with the Greenway & Gardens Program Coordinator on health, environmental education, arts, and youth programming.

Responsibilities include on-site program support, outreach, logistics, and coordinating with partners. This is a non-exempt roster position with flexible hours and potential for future opportunities within the department.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site support during programs, events, and volunteer workdays.
• Support communication and outreach efforts to engage the community.
• Assist with program planning, logistics, and assessment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate program schedules.
• Interact with diverse groups of people and engage with the public.
• Lead guided walking tours along the Downtown Greenway.
