Job summary

Bozeman Community Food Co-op is seeking a Front End Service Manager to oversee all front end operations at CDT location in Bozeman, MT. You will lead staff, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and coordinate with Store Manager and Kitchen Manager to meet sales, margins, labor, and service goals.

The role requires experience managing front end staff, flexibility to cover early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends, and a commitment to food safety and accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff in food service or retail.
• Knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Proficiency with email and MS Office for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front End staff and supervisors to meet service, quality, and productivity standards.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with store and kitchen managers to meet sales and service goals.
• Maintain front end cash handling accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and GCC Health Department guidelines.
• Oversee merchandising, receiving, stocking, and store cleanliness.
• Respond to emergencies and cover shifts as needed.
