Job summary

IPC Foundry Group is seeking a hands-on fabricator to join the engineering department as the execution arm. This role builds, modifies, tests, and installs engineering designs on the production floor, reading prints, welding brackets, and solving real‑time fabrication challenges.

You will collaborate with engineers to clarify designs, flag practical issues before and during builds, and support root-cause troubleshooting to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, or other relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and problem solve.
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic shop machinery.
• Experience reading engineering drawings; SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, weld, and assemble engineering and production projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify design and flag practical issues before and during builds.
• Support root‑cause troubleshooting on the floor.
