Celltrion Branchburg, LLC is seeking a Sr. Scientist/Engineer for the TS/MS Lab Downstream in Branchburg, NJ.

This full-time role supports manufacturing operations by designing and executing downstream experiments, driving process improvement, validation, and technology transfer. You will transfer lab-scale models to late-stage clinical and commercial production, optimize purification processes, manage small teams, and ensure GLP and cGMP compliance with rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in protein purification manufacturing processes.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities specific to downstream purification.
• Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills for working in cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Technical writing expertise, including reports, study designs, protocols, and SOPs related to downstream purification.
• Demonstrate ability to participate in and facilitate decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct downstream lab experiments for process support and tech transfer.
• Transfer lab-scale downstream models to late-stage clinical and commercial manufacturing, ensuring robust and scalable methods are adopted.
• Optimize purification processes and enhance service delivery.
• Present process data and analyses in internal meetings.
• Lead small teams on downstream purification projects.
• Ensure GLP and cGMP compliance and proper documentation.
