  • Travel Percentage: 30%.

  • Lead the development and commercialization of a new Digital Solutions business within the Trauma portfolio, partnering across the enterprise to shape strategy and drive adoption.
  • Analyze market dynamics, industry trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and focus areas.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans, marketing plans, product launch strategies, and customer engagement initiatives aligned to portfolio objectives.
  • Build deep customer understanding and incorporate insights into strategic planning.
  • Articulate clinical, technical, and business value of products to diverse audiences and demonstrate how solutions address customer needs.
  • Develop sales tools and go-to-market plans while coordinating with Marketing Communications to align messaging.
  • Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to establish training and support product launches.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and KPIs; report to leadership and commercial teams.
  • Lead pricing analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Support clinical evidence generation and leverage findings to strengthen value propositions.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities including obsolescence planning.

What you will do
  • As the Downstream Product Manager, Digital Solutions, you will lead the development and commercialization of a new Digital Solutions business within the Trauma portfolio, partnering across the enterprise to shape strategy, drive customer adoption, launch innovative solutions, and establish a scalable foundation for future growth.
  • Analyze market dynamics, industry trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and recommend strategic areas of focus.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans, annual marketing plans, product launch strategies, and customer engagement initiatives that align portfolio objectives with broader business goals.
  • Build deep customer understanding, including buying behaviors, value drivers, unmet needs, satisfaction trends, and perceptions of product attributes, and incorporate insights into strategic planning.
  • Articulate the clinical, technical, and business value of products and portfolios, tailoring messaging to diverse customer audiences and demonstrating how solutions address customer needs.
  • Develop sales tools, communication strategies, and go-to-market plans while partnering with Marketing Communications to ensure messaging aligns with overall marketing objectives.
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Enablement, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish training strategies, support product launches, and ensure commercial alignment across the enterprise.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report portfolio performance, customer engagement metrics, and key business KPIs to leadership and commercial teams.
  • Lead pricing analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize portfolio performance and market competitiveness.
  • Support clinical evidence generation by defining study objectives, evaluating outcomes, and leveraging findings to strengthen value propositions and marketing strategies.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities, including obsolescence planning, to ensure long-term portfolio health and business continuity.
  • Establish short- and long-term improvement goals for the product management function and develop action plans to drive execution and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with market intelligence teams to define research priorities, generate actionable customer insights, and strengthen strategic decision-making.
What you need
  • Required Bachelor’s Degree 4+ years of work experience
  • Preferred 2+ years of digital solutions experience, specifically in Orthopedics
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Experience working within complex interdivisional procedures and policies

Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace.

These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary.

Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements.

Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
