Job summary

EVERY is seeking a Process Engineer II (Downstream Process Development) to optimize downstream operations and scale improvements from lab to pilot and commercial biomanufacturing sites. You will perform unit operations like TFF, depth filtration, chromatography, and spray drying, while driving tech transfers to external facilities and collaborating with scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of unit operations including TFF, depth filtration, continuous centrifugation, chromatography and spray drying.
• Experience with tech transfers to pilot or external facilities (CMOs).
• Experience leading technical discussions with vendors and external partners.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% to support process development.

Responsibilities

• Optimize downstream processes from lab to pilot and scale to commercial production.
• Perform unit operations (TFF, depth filtration, chromatography, spray drying) at pilot/commercial scale.
• Develop and review tech transfer documentation for successful scale-up trials.
• Coordinate with pilot plant vendors to arrange external trials and reviews.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate bench ideas to pilot scale.
• Analyze results and report data for interpretation and follow-up experiments.
• Communicate findings clearly in meetings and maintain compliant documentation.
• Follow department and corporate safety and compliance guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
