Job summary

EVERY™ is hiring a Process Engineer II to optimize the downstream production process, scale up to pilot and commercial biomanufacturing, and lead tech transfers to external facilities. You will work with scientists and engineers, coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth scale-up and knowledge transfer.

The role requires hands-on experience with TFF, filtration, chromatography, and spray drying, plus strong communication skills and international travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or related discipline; 3+ years in industry.
• Practical knowledge of downstream processing unit operations: TFF, depth filtration, continuous centrifugation, chromatography, spray drying.
• Experience executing tech transfers to pilot/CMO facilities.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with vendors and partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally.

Responsibilities

• Optimize downstream processes from lab to pilot scale and support tech transfer.
• Operate unit operations (TFF, depth filtration, chromatography, spray drying) at HQ.
• Develop and review transfer documentation; travel to pilot plants for scale-up reviews.
• Coordinate with pilot equipment vendors for internal and external trials.
• Collaborate with scientists/engineers to move bench ideas to pilot scale.
• Analyze data and report results; participate in meetings and follow safety rules.
