Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in Chino, CA is seeking a Chino Machine Operator Downstream to perform repetitive production and packing operations for mass-produced containers. This hourly role reports to a Shift Supervisor or Production Lead and requires adherence to safety rules, data entry, and packaging procedures.

The ideal candidate will meet basic education requirements, perform basic math, and be able to operate at different stations, follow SOPs and JSA’s, and participate in required training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math and use a computer.
• Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operates production and packing equipment to meet specifications.
• Follows safety policies and uses PPE as directed.
• Monitors production flow and adjusts as needed per schedule.
• Documents data on terminal and ensures packaging accuracy.
• Performs routine housekeeping and equipment checks.
