Job summary

Aramco is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join the Downstream Origination Department. The role involves screening and origination of opportunities across refining, petrochemicals, trading, and retail segments, and leading due diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiations to close transactions.

You will coordinate with subject matter experts to draft agreements and manage deal execution, with a strong emphasis on financial modeling and strategy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/MBA preferred for leadership in M&A and deal execution.
• Significant experience in mergers & acquisitions, business development, and project financing.
• Experience in downstream industry and valuing/structuring deals is preferred.
• PMI/ CMA/ CFA credentials are viewed favorably.
• Knowledge of venture activities, financial valuations, and deal structuring is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Screening and origination of investment opportunities in refining, petrochemicals, trading, retail, lubricants, and logistics.
• Lead due diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiations to close deals.
• Prepare and negotiate terms and MOUs; ensure adherence to process gates and approvals.
• Develop business plans and funding strategies to move proposals from concept to close.
