Job summary

Gehl Foods, LLC is hiring a Downline Operator for the 1st shift (6am–2:30pm). You will operate line equipment and support production targets in a fast-paced facility, following GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line equipment and support line performance.
• Conduct quality checks per GMP standards and Gehl SOPs.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and clearly communicate issues on the line.
• Maintain clean, organized work area meeting 5S standards.
• Hand-stack cases off conveyor when needed.
• Accurately document critical process parameters.

Pay: Base = $17/hour (+ based on experience)

What You'll Do

• Responsible for operations to standards on the following: Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, Straw Applicator, Shrink, Wrapper, Mead, and Elevator
• Conduct quality checks in accordance with Gehl Southeast SOP's
• Effectively troubleshoot, adjust, and communicate problem statements
• Must maintain a work area that complies with all GMP and 5s standards
• Hand stacks cases off conveyor when necessary
• Accurately document and maintain any critical parameters

What You'll Need

• No experience required - we provide thorough training
• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience a plus—but not required!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs)
