Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a Downline Operator for 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm) in Walterboro, SC. Base pay is $17/hour, with increases based on experience. Join a fast-paced production team with on-site operations across multiple equipment lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs).
• Team-player mindset; punctuality and readiness to work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operations to standards on the following: Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, Straw Applicator, Shrink, Wrapper, Mead, and Elevator
• Conduct quality checks in accordance with Gehl Southeast SOP's
• Effectively troubleshoot, adjust, and communicate problem statements
• Must maintain a work area that complies with all GMP and 5s standards
• Hand stacks cases off conveyor when necessary
• Accurately document and maintain any critical parameters
