Job summary

VNACJ Community Health Center seeks an experienced Doula to support patients through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with education, advocacy, and steady emotional and physical care. Travel between Asbury Park, Red Bank, Freehold, and Keyport is required to ensure consistent support for all patients.

The role requires active doula certification, CPR, on-call availability, and ability to work with diverse populations. A $4k sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and active Doula Certification is required.
• Knowledge of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, infant feeding, and postpartum care.
• Ability to work with diverse, underserved populations and high-risk groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal education and support regarding pregnancy, birth prep, and postpartum expectations.
• Offer postpartum emotional support and infant care guidance.
• Assist patients in navigating community resources and CHC services.
• Maintain chart documentation per CHC policies.
