Talon Professional Services seeks a Full Stack C# Developer to join a fast-paced team modernizing critical SaaS applications for the life insurance sector. The role mixes on-site collaboration in Jersey City with remote work opportunities, targeting a contract-to-direct hire arrangement.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of C#/.NET experience, strong OOP, REST API development, and solid database skills (SQL Server, Postgres).

Competenze

• 5–7 years of experience developing large-scale software applications.
• Proven expertise in C# and .NET frameworks.
• Strong object-oriented programming and enterprise design principles.
• Experience building web apps and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SOA and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Debugging, optimization, and testing (unit/integration).
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services is a plus; certifications are a bonus.
• Experience mentoring and motivating technical teams, including off-shore resources.

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience developing large-scale software applications
• Proven expertise in C# and .NET frameworks
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and enterprise software design principles
• Skilled in building web applications and APIs, including RESTful API development
• Familiarity with SOA concepts and microservices architecture
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server and Postgres
• Debugging, optimization, and testing skills, including unit and integration testing
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services is a plus, along with professional certifications in relevant technologies.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Microfrontends and Microservices patterns
• Ability to mentor and motivate technical teams, including off-shore resources

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or engineering; master’s degree preferred

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid onsite setting with two days per week onsite
• Previous experience working on SaaS platforms and Agile methodologies
