People Force Consulting Inc is seeking a .NET Developer for a 3-6 month contract with a US client. This is a remote role with working hours aligned to CST. You will join an Agile team to build healthcare applications, implement new features, and uphold coding standards across the stack.

The role emphasizes end-to-end API development with .NET 7/8, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and CI/CD practices to ensure reliable deployments and observability.

People Force is looking for a .Net Developer for a 3-6 months contract role with one of our US client. This position is a remote position and working hrs as per CST time

Job Description

Experience: 7+ Years

As an .Net Developer, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities

• Strong prior experience in end-to-end REST API development using C# and the latest .NET (.NET 7/8)


• Experience developing APIs that integrate with internal systems and external/third-party APIs


• Experience building Azure Functions with multiple triggers (HTTP, Timer, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.)


• Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency APIs handling millions of transactions


• Apply API integration and resiliency patterns (timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, idempotency)


• Develop APIs using Azure App Services and Azure platform services


• Implement structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing using Application Insights and Azure Monitor


• Work with Azure Cosmos DB and other scalable data stores


• Ensure secure, reliable deployments via CI/CD pipelines and automation

Educational Qualifications:

Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.

Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Mandatory skills: .Net 7 or 8 (Backend),Restful API, Azure

Good to have: Experience with Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads

This position is for a current vacancy with our client. The compensation range reflects our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable provincial legislation. The salary/rate offered will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and overall fit for the role.

USD $40-$42/hr.
