Job summary

Brooksource in Columbus, OH seeks a .NET UI engineer to maintain and modernize legacy WinForms applications, applying MVVM patterns and asynchronous programming techniques.

You will design maintainable UI architectures, collaborate with business and delivery teams, and contribute to enterprise-scale solutions using cloud services and data integration practices.

Qualifications

Job description

• WinForms - Legacy UI maintenance and modernization
• MVVM / MVC design patterns - Clean separation of concerns in UI architecture
• Multithreading & async programming - Task-based async, UI thread management

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision while partnering effectively with business, technology, and delivery teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to translate technical, functional, and control concepts for mixed stakeholder audiences.
• Knowledge and experience in Agile delivery methods, iterative testing, disciplined documentation, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience designing or implementing enterprise applications, cloud services, integrations, data solutions, automation, or ERP-related platform capabilities.
• Strong practical ability to translate business responsibilities into maintainable job roles, data roles, privilege structures, access request catalogs, and SoD remediation evidence.
• Experience with identity lifecycle processes, cloud security, auditing/reporting, automation-minded access validation, and release regression practices is strongly preferred.

Preferred

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Kiro, Copilot, or equivalent)
