McLean Contracting Company in Baltimore, MD seeks a Superintendent (DOT) to lead our Traffic Division. The role holds full P&L and directs project execution through site supervision, coordinating with engineers, managers, and subcontractors to complete work on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in heavy civil, ITS, traffic systems, and at least 5 years in management, plus proficiency with CPM scheduling, cost control, and common construction software.

Competenze

• 10+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Minimum 5 years in highway lighting, traffic signals, signing, electrical, ITS.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Experience in cost and schedule control.

Mansioni

• Lead a management team to meet safety, schedule, and budget goals.
• Manage project personnel and site layout and appearance.
• Coordinate with field supervisors to optimize operations and ensure contract conformance.
• Plan procedures based on specifications to complete projects safely and timely.
• Assemble Superintendent/engineer/foreman teams to start the project and use CPM scheduling.
• Direct Supervisory personnel and subcontractors in planning and execution.
• Lead construction planning, means and methods evaluations, scheduling, QC, and site safety.
• Monitor progress and adjust operations to meet goals and budgets.
