McLean Contracting Company is seeking a Project Manager (DOT) in the Baltimore, MD area. The role carries P&L responsibility and works with project teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence on heavy civil DOT projects.

The position requires experience with DOT/SHA contracts, contract administration, and strong coordination with Owners, Superintendents, and engineers. Salary ranges from $125k to $150k depending on experience, with ESOP, health insurance, retirement plan, and

Competenze

Requires degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering Technology with 5 years of related experience.
DOT/SHA project experience is highly valued and contractor-side exposure is essential.
Must be able to read and interpret procedures, drawings and specs; strong math and geometry skills.
Experience writing and negotiating contracts for purchases and subcontracts; cost and revenue forecasting.

Mansioni

Actively manage project personnel and site layout.
Visit jobsites regularly to coordinate with field supervision and ensure contract conformance.
Develop CPM schedules with input from estimators and superintendents.
Coordinate with minority/small businesses for contract compliance and participation.
Interface bid cost data with estimating and accounting software to set up project budgets.
Oversee progress entries, payments, and owner invoices; assist in final as-builts.
