Job summary

Transervice Logistics is seeking a DOT Safety Supervisor to enforce safety and compliance across operations in Denver. You will identify risks, lead investigations, and ensure adherence to DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA standards while balancing safety with efficiency.

You will review hours-of-service, coordinate post-accident actions, train drivers, and document corrective actions. Travel as needed and collaborate with union partners are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of transportation safety, fleet operations, or risk management experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA requirements, hours-of-service rules, and OSHA safety.
• Experience conducting accident investigations and safety training.
• Strong communication, coaching, analytical, root-cause analysis, decision-making, organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and ability to learn telematics, camera, claims and ELD systems.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and ability to travel.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with teams and union representatives.
• Flexibility to work additional or adjusted schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute safety and compliance programs, SOPs, and initiatives.
• Monitor DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company policy compliance.
• Lead investigations of accidents, injuries, and vehicle events with root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate post-accident notifications, testing, and follow-up actions.
• Review hours-of-service and ELD records; coach drivers and supervisors.
• Conduct risk-based observations; document findings and drive corrective actions.
• Support OSHA and shop safety through inspections and hazard reviews.
• Develop and document safety training and driver orientation.
• Coach safe behaviors with Operations leadership and respect union agreements.
• Prepare corrective-action documentation for coaching and policy violations.
• Audit driver qualification, training, and safety files for completeness.
