Benore Logistics is seeking a Safety Supervisor to champion safety initiatives, ensure DOT regulatory compliance, and foster a strong safety culture across the fleet.

You will mentor drivers, oversee safety documentation, and drive investigations to uphold our commitment to safe, secure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; Associate’s degree or relevant experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation safety administration with knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, TMW, and telematics systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership & Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, oversee compliance initiatives, and promote a culture of safety.

Responsibilities

• Mentor drivers through safety assessments, evaluations, and improvement plans.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations and detailed reporting for accidents and safety events.
• Promote driver engagement through proactive safety initiatives and incentive programs.
• Administer DOT licensing, examinations, and compliance documentation to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Manage the DOT Drug and Alcohol program and ensure all testing requirements are met.
• Assist in driver hiring, training, onboarding, and road testing to ensure safety compliance.
• Represent the company as a safety liaison within the community and promote safe operations.
• Develop and deliver effective safety messages, policies, and training materials with management.

About the Role

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor to champion safety initiatives, ensure compliance with DOT regulations, and enhance our safety culture. In this role, you will mentor drivers, oversee compliance documentation, and conduct investigations to uphold our commitment to safe and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Driver Coaching & Development – Mentor and guide drivers through safety assessments, evaluations, and targeted improvement plans.
• Incident Investigations – Conduct thorough investigations and detailed reporting for accidents, injuries, and safety incidents.
• Safety Engagement & Programs – Promote driver engagement through proactive safety initiatives, appreciation activities, and incentive programs.
• Regulatory Compliance – Administer DOT licensing, examinations, and compliance documentation to ensure full regulatory adherence.
• Drug & Alcohol Program Oversight – Manage the DOT Drug and Alcohol program, ensuring compliance with all testing requirements.
• Support Hiring & Training – Assist in driver hiring, training, onboarding, and road testing to ensure competency and adherence to safety policies.
• Community Safety Representation – Serve as a company liaison, promoting the safety of Benore’s driving operations within the community.
• Safety Communications – Develop and deliver impactful safety messages, policies, and training materials in collaboration with management.
• Audit & Documentation Management – Assist in the administration of vehicle registrations, permits, and internal/external safety audits.
