Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a driver to operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer, delivering merchandise to store locations with a daily home base and a 5-day work week. The role requires strict adherence to DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and maintain a clean MVR and DOT medical status. Comprehensive benefits are provided starting day one, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
• Must possess a current Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
• Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.
• Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.

Potential first year earnings of $71,088.63 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.

Essential Job Functions
