Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a delivery professional to operate a Class 8 tractor-trailer, providing safe, timely route deliveries to store locations. The role emphasizes compliance with DOT regulations, loading/unloading with electric pallet jacks, and maintaining accurate delivery verification.

The position offers a home daily schedule, a five-day workweek with no weekends, and a compensation package that includes safety incentives, bonuses, and opportunities for growth within our expanding

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely and accurate route deliveries.
• Load/unload using electric pallet jacks and lift gates; deliver to designated stores.
• Follow routes, stops and schedules to ensure efficiency within timeframes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain HOS logs.
• Secure loads and verify deliveries; assist with additional routes as needed.

Job description

Potential first year earnings of $79,484.34 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.

Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet.

Essential Job Functions

Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.

Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.

Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.

Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.

Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.

Required:
