Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Class A CDL delivery driver for overnight routes with dedicated stops and a home-daily schedule. Operate a Class 8 tractor-trailer to deliver merchandise to store locations safely and on time.

Responsibilities include loading with electric pallet jacks, following routes and schedules, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining HOS logs, and ensuring secure delivery verification. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbooks, and vehicle inspections.
• Clean MVR and valid DOT medical status.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement required.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Load, unload, and deliver merchandise using electric pallet jacks and lift gates.
• Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain HOS logs; comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Secure all loads and verify deliveries; manage returned merchandise.
• Support additional routes as needed.

Job description

Potential first year earnings of $73,073.00 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.

Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet.

Essential Job Functions

Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.

Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.

Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.

Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.

Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:
