Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Class A CDL driver to join our delivery fleet and serve store locations with safe, timely Route deliveries.

Potential first year earnings of $87,037.24 are highlighted, with a salary package that includes safety incentives, driver bonuses, and performance-based raises. Home daily, 5-day work week, no weekends, and a modern fleet support steady, reliable compensation.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Must maintain the ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to deliver to store locations.
• Load, unload, and deliver merchandise using electric pallet jacks and lift gates.
• Follow routes, stops, and schedules for efficient deliveries.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain HOS logs.
• Secure loads, doors and alarms; verify deliveries and manage returns.
• Assist with various delivery routes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Potential first year earnings of $87,037.24 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.

Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet.

Essential Job Functions

Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.

Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.

Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.

Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.

Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.
