seeks a DOT Regulatory Specialist to translate complex federal motor carrier regulations into practical guidance for customers and internal teams. You will research regulatory developments, create educational content, and support training programs and events to reduce risk and ensure compliance. As a trusted subject matter expert, you’ll contribute to content and advisory services, collaborating with product, marketing and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation safety industry.
• Experience developing and delivering educational/training programs.
• Industry experience may contribute if communication skills are shown.

Responsibilities

• Researches, writes, reviews and edits material for training, guides/manuals, handbooks, newsletters and on-line services.
• Provides regulatory knowledge, expert analysis, product knowledge and training support to internal and external customers.
• Suggest new products/services and revisions of existing products/services.
• Stay current with trends and developments to support responsibilities.
• Prepares and delivers webinars and occasional presentations at outside events.
• Writes blogs, white papers, etc. to support marketing and demonstrate expertise.
• Supports multiple divisions with regulatory material for various projects.
• Maintains industry relationships.
