Job summary

MARTA seeks a qualified professional to oversee the daily administration of its Occupational Medical Services Programs. You will manage current and future programs identified as public health emergencies, guide employees through medical recovery, and validate program data.

You will advise management on protocol, ensure Drug/Alcohol Testing compliance with FTA and MARTA policies, train staff on policies, and coordinate with the OMS contractor for day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Health Management, Medical Services, or related field; 3 years medical services/administrative experience.
• At least 2 years maintaining confidential files with knowledge of DOT/FTA Drug and Alcohol regulations.
• Minimum 1 year leading in-person or virtual training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or experience in a medical environment desired.
• In lieu of education, related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Administers MARTA DOT/FTA Drug and Alcohol Program by scheduling and supporting all test types.
• Maintains drug and alcohol testing data in compliance with MARTA and DOT/FTA regulations.
• Coordinates, within 24 hours, termination processes for policy violations per FTA.
• Ensures MIS reporting and confidential file compliance.
• Assists in training employees on drug and alcohol policy and procedures.
• Serves as MARTA's employer representative with OMS contractor for day-to-day protocol.
• Coordinates Employee Assistance, work/life balance, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.
• Performs other related duties including Transit Ambassador assignments.
