Job summary

Ecore International is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trailers to ensure safe operations.

The role requires 3+ years of trailer mechanic experience, with proficiency in brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and DOT regulations. CDL is a plus; ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience as a trailer mechanic or in a related field.
• Knowledge of trailer braking systems, suspensions, and electrical wiring.
• DOT certified inspector.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet trailers, including brakes, axles, suspensions, lights, and structural components.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical trailer issues efficiently.
• Replace or repair tires, wheel hubs, landing gear, doors, and other trailer components.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
• Communicate maintenance needs and repair status to fleet managers and drivers daily.
