Job summary

New Season in Maine is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our clinic under the supervision of the Medical Director, RN, and Program Director. You will engage directly with patients, administer medications, and help maintain accurate records and inventory.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maine or your state (as applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient contact.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices.
• Basic math skills and computer literacy (Word/Outlook/Excel).
• Typing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supply and administer medications per physician orders and record dosages.
• Conduct daily inventory of medication supply and maintain accuracy.
• Handle patient intake, screen and schedule as needed.
• Collect fees and perform cash reconciliation when needed.
• Ensure proper disposal of medical waste and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Assist with data collection for history and physicals as required.
• Support CARF preparation and state audits.

Education
